Cookbooks are back inElden Ring:Shadow of the Erdtree, and their recipes are just as useful as the cookbooks from the base game. With pages scattered across the Shadow World, Tarnished will have to look in every nook and cranny to find them all, but finding each one will provide you with one more tool to use in your quest to find Miquella.
The recipes aren’t all you’ll need, however; before you’re able to craft anything, you’ll need to get the Crafting Kit from Merchant Kale in Limgrave. Odds are high that you’ve already gotten the kit, based on how muchElden Ringyou have to play before you canstart Shadow of the Erdtree, but if not, you canlook for Kale in the Church of Elleh. Once you’ve got the kit, all that’s left is to hunt down all the cookbooks. Follow along below for each location.

These Ancient Dragon Knight’s Cookbooks contain recipes that allow you to infuse your weapons with lightning damage.

Red Lightning Pot
Gravesite Plain- In the Fog Rift Catacombs, head to the right past the sorcerer on the bridge. There will be a room with two Imps; the cookbook is there.
Dragonbolt Grease
Drawstring Dragonbold Grease
Ancient Ruins of Rauh- Take the second elevator down in the Scorpion River Catacombs, then drop to the bridge, climbing the ladder you find there.

Craft Your Own Spritestones
There are two Antiquity Scholar’s Cookbooks, both of which give a different Spritestone recipe.
Fire Spritestone
Rauh Base- North of the Temple Town Ruins Site of Grace, defeat a pot-headed enemy, and the cookbook will drop.
Spritestone
Ancient Ruins of Rau—Northwest of the Viaduct Minor Tower Site of Grace, a corpse is in a pit.

The Battlefield Priest’s recipes give you consumables that allow you to wield holy power on your weapons.
Golden GreaseDrawstring Golden Grease
Shadow Keep, Scadu Altus- To the right of the headless Queen Marika statue, there is a balcony with a corpse on it that can only be reached after lowering the water level.
Festive Grease
Fort of Reprimand, Scadu Altus- After defeating Black Knight Edredd, find the corpse on top of a tower nearby.
Golden Vow
Scadu Altus- Along the road to Shadow Keep,near the tough-to-beat Furnace Golem, find a corpse inside a tent in an encampment.
Sunwarmth Stone
Shadow Keep, Scadu Altus- Take the elevator on the left near the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace. You’ll find an illusory wall to the west of an armory with a corpse behind it.
Glinting Nail
Charo’s Hidden Grave- On the west of the Finger’s Ruins of Rhia, find the Finger Weaver’s Hovel. There’s a corpse inside holding the first Cookbook.
Fingerprint Nostrum
Stone Coffin Fissure- While progressing Ymir and Jolan’s questline, you’ll head into the Finger Ruins of Dheo. After you’re invaded by the NPC Swordhand of Night Anna, there will be a tilted ledge with a body. This body has your second cookbook.
All Fire Knight’s Cookbook Locations
Flaming Weapons, Flaming Snake
Use the Fire Knight’s Cookbook craftables to truly embrace the power of fire. You can inflict fire damage with both ranged and melee weapons, as well as summon a fire snake with FP. Here is each location:

All Forager Brood Cookbook Locations
Forager Brood Hide-and-Seek
The Forager Brood Cookbook has a bit of a twist. There are a bunch of Lesser Servants of Rot lurking around these Cookbooks; instead of killing them, you’ll need to talk to them. You can tell which Servants are hostile by looking for the ones with the red bodies. If they’re red, they’re safe to kill. Spellproof Pickled Liver
Scadu Altus- Northwest of the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past, there is a Lesser Servant of Rot that will give you the cookbook.
Holyproof Pickled Liver
Scadu Altus- North of the Church of the Crusade, there is a Servant of Rot who is injured. It has the cookbook you need but won’t give it unless you heal it first. you’re able to use a Warming Stone or other healing item to perk it back up.
Opaline Pickled Liver
Scadu Altus- In the poison swamp north of the Moorth Ruins, there is a Lesser Servant of Rot on the way to Rauh Base.
Well-Pickled Turtle Neck
Scadu Altus- From the Church District Highroad Site of Grace, go northwest over the hill, then head west towards the Castle Wall to find a Servant of Rot there.
Fireproof Pickled Liver
Gravesite Plain, Prospect Town- South of the Cliffroad Terminus Site of Grace, there is a small hilly area with a Lesser Servant of Rot.
Lightningproof Pickled Liver
Gravesite Plain- Southeast of the Ellac River Downstream, follow the mountain wall to the left to find the next Lesser Servant and cookbook.
Spirit Raisin Charming Branch
Gravesite Plain- After obtaining the previous six books, head back to meet Moore near the Main Gate Cross Site of Grace for the final cookbook.
As part of Moore’s questline, he’ll ask you to locate all six Forager Broods, which will reward you with the seventh and final Forager Brood Cookbook. Don’t attack any of the Lesser Servants of Rot. If you do kill them, you won’t have a chance touncover the Lesser Servants' cookbook secret.
All Grave Keeper’s Cookbook Locations
Both Grave Keeper’s Cookbooks give you recipes inspired by the undead.
Piquebone Arrow Piquebone Arrow (Fletched) Piquebone Bolt
Charo’s Hidden Grave- Right after entering the Grave from the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion, there’s a corpse holding the first book.
Polter Stone
Cerulean Coast- You’ll see a corpse resting against an old tree in the distance in the southwest of the region.

Never Enough Hefty Pots
There are 14 Greater Potentate’s Cookbooks in total; finding them all gives you access to 14 different Hefty Pot Recipes.
Hefty Fire Pot
Gravesite Plain- In the Scorched Ruins, find the corpse with the Cookbook on a flight of broken stairs.
Hefty Furnace Pot
Gravesite Plain- Below Ellac Bridge, find the Run-Down Traveler’s Rest shack and the corpse inside.
Hefty Magic Pot
Cathedral of Manu Metyr- Start at the Cathedral of Manu Metyr Site of Grace, then go east to the area guarded by the marionettes.
Heft Oil Pot
Scadu Altus- Start at the Scadu Altus West Site of Grace, then go towards the Fog Rift Fort. The corpse on the bridge holds your book.
Hefty Lightning Pot
Gravesite Plain- From the Cliffroad Terminus Site of Grace, go straight south to the area with the lightning rams. Here, find the book on a corpse on a rock.
Hefty Red Lightning Pot
Foot of the Jagged Peak- After arriving from the Dragon’s Pit, follow the path to the north after the Jagged Peak Drake boss. Follow the path to the northeast edge of the mountain to find the cookbook.
Hefty Poison Pot
Gravesite Plain- Through the gorge to the east of the Castle Front, find the pink Miranda Sprouts in the upper poison bog. There’s a corpse being guarded by the Sprouts here that’s holding the book.
Hefty Fetid Pot
Rauh Base- West of the Ravine North Site of Grace, there is a corpse laying on some moss that has the book.
Hefty Rot Pot
Rauh Ruins- Start from the Church of the Bud Main Entrance, then head northeast to the edge of the cliff. Jump off to the north using the sealed Spiritspring, finding the Cookbook in the ruins there.
Hefty Fly Pot
Gravesite Plain- Northwest of the Abandoned Ailing Village, there is a shack with a corpse inside.
Hefty Freezing Pot
Gravesite Plain- In the Belurat Gaol, there is a corpse in the jar pot maze.
Hefty Rock Pot
Gravesite Plain- Outside the Ellac River Cave, there’s a rock column you can use to cross the ravine. The book is sitting there.
Hefty Volcano Pot
Gravesite Plain- In the first room of the Ruined Forge Lava Intake, there is a corpse being guarded by a Stone Golem. Defeat it to pick up the book.
Hefty Rancor Pot
Charo’s Hidden Grave- From the Charo’s Hidden Grave Site of Grace, head through the arch and then travel south to the Miranda Sprout. The book is behind it.

Just One of These
The Loyal Knight’s cookbook is inside a chest tucked into an armory in Castle Ensis, rightbelow the Castle Ensis Checkpoint Site of Grace.It unlocks recipes to craft Royal Magic Grease and Drawstring Royal Magic Grease.
Frenzied Flame PotRoped Frenzied Flame Pot
Abyssal Woods- Head west from the Abyssal Woods Site of Grace, then look near the waterfall.
Hefty Frenzied Flame Pot
Abyssal Woods- Start at the same Site of Grace, but head south this time until you reach the grove of withered trees. The book is in the middle.
Surging Frenzied Flame
Midra’s Manse- Just before the Midra’s Library Site of Grace, there’s a room full of swarming rats. Look for a corpse that’s dangling from a section of the collapsed floor here.

Cerulean Coast- North of the Cerulean Coast Cross Site of Grace, there is a hill that you may reach by jumping across a broken pillar.

Cerulean Coast- From the same Site of Grace as the previous, head south towards the Jagged Peak. Overlooking it, there’s a corpse holding the Cookbook.
Lulling Branch
Scadu Altus- Afterdefeating the Putrescent Knightas a part of Thoillier’s questline, the book is on a corpse next to St. Trina.
