Better Late Than Single cast member Noh Jae-yun is now dating

Although he went home single, the Better Late Than Single producers have revealed that he’s now dating someone new – and they’ve been together for the past two weeks.

This is big news, not least because the cast’s social media profiles are privated, and the show didn’t provide any updates on their life back in the real world post-filming.

In a conversation withiMBC, co-creator Kim Noh-eun explained, “It’s been 10 months since filming ended, so it’s really out of our hands now. It’s difficult to comment on their personal lives at this point, but I imagine they’ll reveal their status themselves soon. Please wait to hear it directly from them.”

“I think they’ll go public when they’re ready,” added producer Won Seung-jae. “There’s no confidentiality agreement in place. We just recommended keeping it private at first for their protection – things like scam messages or unwanted DMs could be an issue.”

However, Noh-eun then surprised everyone when she said, “While we can’t speak for everyone due to privacy, one person gave us permission to share. Noh Jae-yun recently started dating.

“He didn’t meet her on the show – they met separately. It’s been about two weeks, and we’re all really happy for him.” The fans are in agreement, with the news being shared on the Better Late Than Single subreddit.

“He has been dating a woman older than him for two weeks. Happy for him and I really wish the best for him,” theywrote, to which one replied, “Wow, this is such great news! Congratulations to him!”

Another commented, “Thanks OP, so happy for him! Super super happy. Since it’s been 10 months since filming, he had 9+ months to improve himself before getting attached. I wonder if the girls from the show were advising him.”

“Aw, this made me genuinely happy,” added a third, while a fourth chimed in, “Good man, growing up!”

In a separatethread, one viewer said of Jae-yun, “I’m so proud of him. I think he was the most lovable cast in this show. I really hope he will find someone who will treasure him. The courage he showed in the final makes me sooooo PROUD.”

They also referred to the fact that he chose fellow cast member Kim Yeo-myung, despite knowing that she wouldn’t choose him back.

Netflix show creators reveal why they didn’t edit Park Ji-yeon and Ha Jeong-mok date

The creators also spoke about the steamy date between Park Ji-yeon and Ha Jeong-mok, who sparked a busy conversation after they cuddled in bed during their one-night, two-day date.

A number of viewers felt they were given an unfair advantage, others criticized Jeong-mok for choosing Ji-yeon despite previously expressing his feelings towards Yi Do, and then there were fans whocalled for kindness towards the coupleamid the backlash.

As for the first matter, Noh-eun said (viaChosun Biz), “We didn’t specifically give the two a one-night, two-day date privilege; we originally had three locations arranged. However, it was unexpected that only the first couple appeared.

“Consequently, it seems there was more focus on that couple. We set up the locations, but regarding what happens, I can’t speak on that. Please view it as events that occurred naturally within that setting.”

She went on to explain why they didn’t edit out the scene in which Ji-yeon and Jeong-mok appeared to share a kiss.

“I thought it was natural for individuals in their late 20s to start dating. Plus, since it’s a dating show, that clear emotional expression is natural. I thought we should honestly showcase their feelings without adding or subtracting anything,” said Noh-eun.

“In the case of Single’s Inferno and other dating programs, there have also been kiss scenes. Being a late bloomer seems to have shocked viewers even more. But the participants are not minors, they are adults.

“In our first romance, don’t we all go through such a process?”
