Fortnite 34.21 update patch notes for April Fools Day
Fortnitehasn’t hosted an April Fools’ Day event in seven years, but that’s all changed with the 34.21 update.
This patch has not only revived its April Fools’ tradition but also introduced iconicMortal Kombatcontent, including Scorpion’s arrival, his powerful Kombat KitMythic weapon, theFirst Blood Medallion, and three new Mortal Kombat-themedmap locations.

Fortnite downtime for April 1 update
Fortnite servers areonline and workingafter completing scheduleddowntime, which went live onApril 1 at 1 AM PT | 4 AM ET | 9 AM BST. This lasted two hours.
Unlike the usual Tuesday updates that roll out seamlessly every week to introduce minor tweaks like newWeekly or Story Quests, NPC adjustments, orsmall weapon pool changes, this one has included server downtime as it is much bigger.

Unvaulted weapons
Scorpion’s Kombat Kit Mythic and First Blood Medallion
Resurrected for revenge and bound by honor, the ninja specter Scorpion is a threat to any mortal. If you manage to defeat this Character coming to the Island April 1, you’ll be rewarded with hisMythic Scorpion’s Kombat Kitand theFirst Blood Medallion.
When the First Blood Medallion is equipped, it causes your first shot out of your gun magazine to trigger an explosion upon hitting an enemy.

Land Scorpion’s Spear from the Kombat Kit to hook enemies in, then let loose a series of combo attacks to FINISH THEM! The Medallion will make your first shot from any weapon’s magazine explode when it hits an enemy.
Mortal Kombat POI locations
Get over here! The standard version of Scorpion’s Kombat Kit is also dropping April 1 and will be found in Chests around the Island. Scorpion himself will be found at one of the three new landmarks arriving on the map April 1:The Pit, The Living Forest, and The Dead Pool.
If you fall in the green acid at The Dead Pool location, you will die by being melted by the pool of acid.
Mortal Kombat quests
Unlocking April 1 at 9 AM ET, put your skills to the test with new Quests based on Klassic Kombat! You’ll be rewarded 30,000 XP apiece for completing each of the Quests below, with more Quests becoming progressively available:

After being previously removed by the developers over a bug, they have been fixed and have now returned to Battle Royale matches, spawning across the island as normal.
