Check out what Bogosian had to say below:

You have no idea. From a perspective of being a real person, living in a real world, doing a dramatic show, and I’m acting in it, the inventiveness of Anne Rice and Rolin Jones together, you just can’t wait to see where this is all gonna lead. And they definitely leave us in a position of, this is a stepping off point to the next crazy thing that’s going to happen. I’ve had such a good experience with this show that I’m ready to be puddy in their hands for whatever Rolin cooks up. I was quite happy with the way it all ends up, mostly, but I’m not gonna get into that right now.
How Will Interview With The Vampire Season 2 Set Up Season 3?
Interview with the Vampireseason 3has already been confirmed, with a storyline mirroring the plot of the second book in the series,The Vampire Lestat. The titular vampire is expected to be the focus of the upcoming season, with details already confirming he’ll be starting a rock band in an attempt to tell his true story to the world. Familiar characters like Louis and Daniel are also anticipated to show up, but details indicate this upcoming season will feel very different from everything the show has done so far.
Season 2’s setup for the next entry will likely happen during Louis' confrontation with Lestat in Paris, revealing what happened between the pair the last time they saw each other. The details therein could make their way to the ancient vampire once Daniel publishes his book, making him come out of hiding in order to set the record straight about his past. This could mark a transition into the next phase of the story, alongside the widening world ofThe Vampire Chroniclesas details are pulled from later book as well.

Since Lestat is going to be an important part ofInterview with the Vampire’s castgoing into season 3, it would make sense for him to have a prominent role in the season 2 finale. While his past appearance is already guaranteed, there’s also potential he shows up in the present too, starting to tell his own story in a performative fashion. With so many ways season 3’s main story could be set up, it’s clear the vampire characters will be at the center of whatever transpires next.
