When looking at individual markets, the sequel is blowing away competition. It has taken the largest opening weekend of all time in Columbia and is doing well in the rest of Latin America as well with a $61 million total there. After a slow box office that saw the lowest-earning Memorial Day weekend in 40 years,Inside Out 2is bringing life back to theaters. With the rest of the summer left to perform, its overall total will only continue to climb. It may well bring long-term viability back to previously struggling theaters.
