After the fight, Paul celebrated with his team before proposing a potential super fight between himself and a multi-time boxing champion.

“Hey, Canelo [Alvarez], stop ducking. I want Canelo. Like I said, I’m the face of this sport,” Paul said after the fight.

Bisping says Jake Paul is “disrespecting boxing”

Many boxing fans quickly shut down that talk. And former UFC championMichael Bispingalso took exception to Paul’s call-out.

On hisYouTubechannel, Bisping explained why Paul challenged Alvarez and how unrealistic a match between the two is.

Jake and Logan Paul had their drama public, leaving Jake in a “dark” place earlier on in his career.

“He’s calling out Canelo because he knows damn well that fight is not going to happen. Canelo Alvarez would not wipe his ass with a Jake Paul payday,” Bisping said.

“The man is one of the best boxers of his generation. He wants real tests. He doesn’t want a circus, sideshow, or freak show fights, okay? That’s what Jake Paul is doing.”

Bisping went on to say of the YouTuber, “Jake Paul took a weird route. Fighting basketball players and mixed martial artists who were past their prime, then he lost toTommy Fury.

“He rebounded against an old washed-up version of Nate Diaz, and now here he is against Ryan Bourland — every time, charging pay-per-view prices.

Bisping’s disgust toward Paul was apparent in his tone during the video. He’s unhappy with the amount of influencers joining the boxing world.

“The reason I said that he’s a fake is because if you’re charging pay-per-view, you have to give the people a real fight. Not handpicked, cherry-picked opponents.”

Thelikelihood of Alvarez taking the fightis virtually zero, primarily for the reasons Bisping pointed out.

Alvarez is a top-tier boxer at the highest level of the sport. Paul, although with a respectable 9-1 record, hasn’t faced anyone like this. Until then, Bisping and several fans will laugh off the trash talk toward Alvarez.
