The Couples Worked Through Their Issues Without Depth

During the finale episode ofPerfect Matchseason 2, the couples were able to get into their final matches and then go on a date to allow them to explore their connections further. While there were some surprises in who the final couples were, includingLove Is Blind’sMicah Lussiermatching back up withDated & Related’sKaz Bishop, their last moments together on screen were more about connection than anything else. The couples worked through their issues on their final dates, but it was clear they didn’t have much to talk through outside of what had been shown on screen.

The Singles Weren’t Allowed To Voice Their Opinions

At the final vote, the couples and the singles who left the villa unmatched came back together to talk about who should be the perfect match and win the show’s grand prize. Careful about who they wanted to give an all-expenses-paid vacation to,it was assumed that the cast of singles would want to put some of the couples on blast. While there were moments when the couples were called out and questioned, the majority of the time was devoted to the couples discussing themselves, as well asHarry Jowsey and Jessica Vestal, who leftPerfect Matchon bad terms.

The Winning Couple, Christine & Nigel, Were Disappointing

After the vote, it was revealed thatChristine Obanor and Nigel Jones, both from different seasons ofToo Hot To Handle, were named the season’s perfect match. While Christine and Nigel were getting along pretty well, the couple had only matched up a day or so prior which made it unheard of thatthey were crowned the winnersalongside couples who had been together since the beginning of the season. With the winners' disappointing viewers along with the cast,Perfect Matchseason 2 made a fascinating season into an unwatchable one by giving the prize to the completely wrong people.
