Pokémon TCG: Stellar Crown’s Release Date

Pokémon Scalet & Violet: Stellar Crownwill be released on July 16, 2025. Players who want to try out the cards a day early can do so viaPokémon TCG Live. ThePokémon TCGalso has prerelease tournaments ahead of the release of the official set. The prerelease events forStellar Crownwill begin on August 31, so players will want to check with their local game stores to see if they are participating. Players can get their hands on cards up to two weeks ahead of release at these events.
Due to its release date,Stellar Crowncards will have a regulation mark G. This meansthese cards will be legal in the Standard format until rotating out in 2026. The cards will also remain legal for longer in the Extended format, so these cards will be viable for a long time depending on which format players like. Players will want to follow the cards released in this and other upcoming sets to see how they will affect the current meta game, so they can be prepared to include or respond to them in September.

The full card list forStellar Crownhas not been released yet, but there have been some cards previewed that players can expect in this new set.Stellar Crownwill introduce four new Stellar Tera Pokémon ex cardsfor Terapagos, Cinderace, Galvantula, and Lapras (whose art can be seen on the officialPokémonwebsite page for the set). An excard for Hydrapple has also been spoiled online, and the set will include more regular ex cards that haven’t been seen yet.
Stellar Crownwill also feature the first-ever Archulodon card in the TCG. There will also be promotional cards included in certain booster packs that are available at big box stores. Single blister packs will contain Horsea or Porygon2 cards, and three-pack blisters will include either Latias or Tinkaton. Elite Trainer Boxes for this set will also include a full-art promotional version of Noctowl.

These Products Have Been Previewed For The Set
As of right now,six different products have been previewed forStellar Crown. The first is the standard booster packs which can be bought individually or in a booster display containing 36 packs. Each booster pack ofStellar Crowncontains 10 cards and one basic Energy card. Players who want to buy sealed booster packs in bulk, but don’t want a full box of 36 can also buy Booster Bundles, which come with six packs ofStellar Crown.
Another way to buyStellar Crownbooster packs is in the Elite Trainer Boxes. These come in a standard version, and a Pokémon Center Version, the latter of which is exclusively available through thePokémon Centeronline store. Standard versions of the Elite Trainer Box come with nineStellar Crownbooster packs, a player’s guide, 65 card sleeves, 45 Energy cards, a six-sided die, six damage counter dice, a themed coin, and a promotional full-art version of Noctowl.The Pokémon Center version comes with all this plus two additional packs, and an additional Noctowlwith a special Pokémon Center logo.

Players who place a pre-order aren’t charged until the product actually ships in September, so players who want to reserve their product now can do so without having to pay upfront. Pre-orders through Pokémon Center can also be canceled if need be.
Aside from the four products available to pre-order right now, two more products have also been previewed: check-lane blister packs, and check-lane three-pack blisters. These products contain one or three booster packs, respectively, sealed within clear plastic along with a promotional card and a Pokémon coin. These types of products are usually found at big box retail stores. While no price is currently listed for theStellar Crownblisters, previous versions of this product have been sold for around $6, meaning they are slightly more expensive than a single booster pack to account for the coin and extra card.
As of right now,Pokémon Stellar Crownis not the next set to release for the TCG.Shrouded Fablewill be releasedon June 16, 2025. Players can likely expect to see more in-depth details aboutStellar CrownonceShrouded Fablehas been fully released. That said, since players can cancel their pre-orders from Pokémon Center, they are free to get their orders in early and decide to cancel them if they decide the set’s cards aren’t for them.
