Return to Silent Hill trailer found by fan after Konami took it down

Return to Silent Hillfinally has a release date, and its first trailer has been unearthed on social media after it was taken down by Konami.

The firstSilent Hill, directed by Christophe Gans, was released in 2006. It wasn’t particularly well-received by critics or fans at the time, but it was commercially successful enough to green-light another installment: Silent Hill: Revelation. The less said about that, the better.

James in Return to Silent Hill

Nearly 15 years later, the iconic video game franchise is returning to the big screen with Return to Silent Hill. Gans is back as director, and this time, it’s an adaptation ofSilent Hill 2, starring Jeremy Irvine (Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again) as James.

It’s been picked up by Cineverse (the same distributor behind theTerrifiermovies), and Konami released a teaser trailer in May 2024… before it was deleted. Fear not (well, maybe a little), because it’s still online.
