Superman actor details “wildest” injury from stunt
David Corenswet opened up about his injury in the latest episode ofVanity Fair’s “Lie Detector Test,”in which he and co-starNicholas Hoult, who playedLex Luthor, took turns interviewing each other while being hooked up to a polygraph.
At one point in the episode, Hoult asked the new Superman star about the “wildest bruise” he got, given that he spent the majority of the production strapped to a harness to perform the fight-and-flight scenes.

Following this question, Corenswet straight up replied: “My right testicle.”
Although this answer was deemed “inconclusive,” meaning that it’s unclear whether it was a truth or a lie, he mentioned, “It could’ve been my left,” while laughing.

“There’s footage of me getting pulled through the air. It’s this wonderful epic moment,” he explained.
According to the star, the scene where the incident occurred is in the “beginning” part of the trailer, where he stands up, punches the glass out, leaps through the window, and flies through the air.
“And on the first take of that, it’s this big epic punch and then a leap through the air, and then just, my testicle,” he added.
After being told that was all indeed “truthful,” Corenswet mentioned that he couldn’t lie about that. “It’s on the film,” he said.
