That ’90s Show Season 2 Wishlist: 10 Things We Want To See Happen
That ‘90s Show season 1 introduces a new generation of teens to Kitty and Red’s basement, and season 2 must bring further depth to the gang.
Bob Only Appeared In One Episode Of That ’90s Show Season 1
Don Stark is officially returning as hisThat ’70s ShowcharacterBob Pinciotti inThat ’90s Showseason 2after appearing in just one episode of season 1. Stark previously played Donna’s father and the Formans' cheerfulnext-door neighbor Bob in alleight seasons ofThat ’70s Show. Now, it’s been confirmed thatStark’s role as Bob will be much bigger inThat ’90s Showseason 2, which suggests that he willbe spending more time with his granddaughter, Leia. This is especially great news given the OG character’s tragic season 1 storyline.
The only reason he was trying so hard was because he was afraid that Leia would forget about her “old Grandpa Bob.”

That ’90s Showconfirmed that Bob was still living in Florida after moving there at the end ofThat ’70s Showto start a new business, meaning he doesn’t get to see his only granddaughter all that much.Bob returned to Point Place forLeia’s 15th birthday inThat ’90s Showseason 1, episode 6, “The Birthday Girl,” and went all out by gifting her a pricey karaoke machine. This over-the-top birthday present resulted in a disastrous karaoke incident in which Bob accidentally serenaded Leia to an inappropriate song in front of her friends.
Bob’s ’70s Show Ending Actually Makes His That ’90s Show Return Tragic
Bob Pinciotti’s move to Florida at the end of That ’70s Show makes his reunion with his granddaughter Leia more tragic in That ’90s Show.
Now that Stark’s been bumped to a recurring role in That ’90s Show season 2, Bob will have a real chance to develop a closer relationship with Leia.

Bob later confessed to Red and Kitty that he was jealous of them for getting to spend so much more time with Leia, and the only reason he was trying so hard was because he was afraid that Leia would forget about her “old Grandpa Bob.“It was a saddening moment that prompted Red to begrudgingly reassure Bob that that was never going to happen. Now that Stark’s been bumped to a recurring role inThat ’90s Showseason 2, Bob will have a real chance to develop a closer relationship with Leia and avoid a repeat of his birthday surprise gone wrong.

Could Bob End Up Moving Back To Point Place In That ’90s Show Season 2?
Bob Was Still Living In Florida In That ’90s Show Season 1
Stark’s more prominent presence inThat ’90s Showseason 2 suggests that Bob could be moving back to Point Place. Though he’s still dressed like he’s in the Sunshine State, Bob appears to be quite settled into his old neighborhood in the trailer. AlthoughBob has been living in Florida since 1980, he clearly misses Point Placeand wants to be in closer proximity to his granddaughter. Leia may live in Chicago for most of the year, but Wisconsin is a lot closer to Illinois than Florida, making it much easier for Bob to visit Leia more often.
Bob’s potentially permanent return to Wisconsin is even more likely with Laura Prepon also returning as Donna inThat ’90s Showseason 2. Considering Leia is staying with Red and Kitty in Point Place again for the summer, Donna and Eric presumably still live in Chicago full-time, but Donna’s reappearance inThat ’90s Showseason 2 would make even more sense if her own dad relocating to their hometown. Of course, he’ll have to find someplace else to live, since his old house next door to the Formans is currently occupied by Sherri, Gwen, and Nate Runck.

That ’90s Showseason 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
That ’90s Show
