No Gameplay Shown, But An Exciting Trailer
WoW: The War Withinis currently in its beta testing period, with many players getting topreview some of the contentthat will be available in the full game release later this year. The trailer debuted does not feature much in terms of gameplay, but does capture the incredible cinematic quality that Blizzard is known for in trailers. It includes compilations of many familiar clips of cinematics in the past, including the Lich King and much of Anduin Wrynn’s past, while a voice-over mentions hints at the destruction coming from within the heart of Azeroth itself.
The lore ofWorld of Warcraft’s past is immense, with numerous rich storylines of Azeroth and the cultures of the inhabitants of the world. AsThe War Withinbegins to lay the foundations for the trilogy’s epic tale, it will have plenty to look at on a smaller scale with a smaller-scale war taking place. In addition, the Earthen allied race is introduced to players and new game mechanics such as Warbands and Delves.
